At the heart of our ambient planters lies a strong commitment to sustainability and responsible business. We embrace ESG principles -Environmental, Social, and Governance - in everything we do.

Environmentally, we choose Sherwin-Williams Eco Powdura, an eco-friendly powder coating that ensures durable protection while minimizing environmental impact.

Socially, we proudly collaborate with social workers who assemble our planters, creating meaningful job opportunities and supporting community inclusion.

In terms of governance, we maintain close communication with Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) to continuously align our operations with the highest standards and best practices.

Through these efforts, we create products that not only beautify spaces but also contribute to a more sustainable, inclusive and transparent future.

1. Environment

Our planters made out of recycled aluminium are finished with Sherwin-Williams Powdura® ECO, an innovative powder coating made with up to 25% recycled plastic. This sustainable solution helps reduce CO₂ emissions and minimize plastic waste, combining durability with environmental responsibility.

2. Social

MAZU offers opportunities for people who are unable to access the regular job market to engage in meaningful and rewarding employment. Through our collaboration, we provides dedicated training to ensure that each team member is fully aligned with our production needs, quality standards, and technical know-how. This partnership allows us to create high-quality products while supporting social inclusion, empowerment, and skill development within the community.

3. Governance

We work exclusively with carefully screened partners who share our governance standards, ensuring quality, safety and transparency throughout our production process. In close collaboration with the Belgian entity of Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), we have implemented the right procedures to uphold best practices and continuous improvement.
